Mission

  1. Assessment of social phenomena to be conceptualized as a reference for social action in empowerment of migrant workers and their families.
  2. Encourage the establishment and strengthen the organizations of migrant workers at various levels.
  3. Develop mechanisms to oversee policy on regulating labour issues and on budgeting in the field of labor issue.
  4. Assistances to resolve legal cases both in and out of the court.
  5. Encourage economic independence and employment of migrant workers and their families by leveraging remittances and local potentials in their respective communities.

Key Programs

  • Opening access to internet based information for village residents.
  • Increase the number of paralegal and counselors in and from the communities, and develop network of paralegals to provide legal aids to victims of migration.
  • Improve preparedness of prospective migrant workers and their families (guidances to plan the migration).
  • Increase awareness of the community members on migrant workers issue and human trafficking issue using local art performance.
  • Economic empowerment of migrant workers - communities by conducting training on small business development, mediation with financial institutions, as well as assisting migrant workers - communities to develop a marketing network.
  • Integrate gender equality into safe migration education.
