To empower women and to contribute to social transformation of women's roles and status in society by increasing women's access to and control of available resources in order to establish a more egalitarian, democratic, and gender just society.

Community Program

This program is the main activity of PPSW Pasoendan that is aimed at raising women's critical awareness, increasing women's capacities, and developing women's leadership. The phases of the program include: consolidation, establishment of women's groups, identifying problems in the community, and developing an agenda for joint action, implementation of the agendas, monitoring and evaluation. 

In order to push for the creation of pro-poor policies that reflect gender justice at the local level, women's groups that are spread out in six Districts, established a Local Women's Union of Tatar Sunda, and a Local Women's Union.

Trainings

PPSW Pasoendan facilitates various trainings for women's groups that are also its partners, local community cadres, as well as other organizations that need the trainings. The trainings are technical skill trainings (vocational skills and business development training), management training, and personal development training.

Seminars and Workshops

PPSW Pasoendan facilitates various seminars and workshops at District and Provincial levels as one of its advocacy efforts on women's issues.

Publication

This program is aimed at documenting and publishing information about the process of women empowerment based on finding from the field, as well as those written by experts.

Microfinance

PPSW Pasoendan facilitates the establishment of microfinance institutions in the form of cooperatives, as one of its effort to strengthen the economic condition of women at the community level.

In implementing this program, PPSW Pasoendan applies program strategies as described below:

1. Building up a strong foundation by strengthening its vision and mission
2. Increasing skills of group members
3. Expanding the organization and network that will especially work to solve various issues in communities
4. Conduct policy advocacy that is related to challenges in the community

PPSW Pasoendan is an autonomous institution, and member of Asosiasi Pusat Pengembangan Sumberdaya Wanita (Asosiasi PPSW) or Association of Center for Women's Resource Development, established in 1986
